Archive for May, 2012

For those who won’t be in New York City to visit TechCrunch firsthand, it’s still possible to participate!

On Twitter, beginning Monday, May 21, 2012 at 8 a.m. EST, tell @domaindotcom why you deserve a TechCrunch shout-out and include hashtag #TCDisrupt (the full contest hours are listed below). Tweets will show up on Domain.com’s custom Twitter decoder bracelet, and every hour during the event (well, most hours), Domain.com will randomly select a winner!

How will you know if you’ve won? It’s easy. We’ll tweet out a picture with your Twitter handle featured on our decoder bracelet. So, if you enter, for example, the Monday 9am-10am game, and you’re the winning Tweet,  a picture of your Twitter handle will be posted sometime in the next  (10am-11am) hour.

Want to know the prizes? Winners have the chance to receive 9 cent and 99 cent .COM domain name coupons, Domain.com t-shirts and jump-drives!

Contest Hours (We’ll try to pick a winner every hour, but make no guarantees):
Monday, May 21, 2012 8:00 a.m. EST- 6:00 p.m. EST
Tuesday, May 22, 2012 8:00 a.m. EST- 6:00 p.m. EST
Wednesday, May 23, 2012 8:00 a.m. EST- 6:00 p.m. EST

Tweets submitted after contest hours will automatically be disqualified. More than one tweet per person per hour will automatically be disqualified. There’s no guarantee that a winner will be picked every hour, but we’ll try.

Post on here or tweet to @domaindotcom if you have any additional questions!

Have fun!

Domain.com is excited about our upcoming trip to TechCrunch Disrupt NYC! If you’re going, stop by our booth in the Startup 411 section for a cool Domain.com t-shirt and the chance to win prizes.

To track what’s happening, we’ll be actively posting on Twitter and Facebook with the hashtag #TCDisrupt. Make sure you’re following @domaindotcom and “like” facebook.com/domaindotcom because there may even be a contest or two for our fans!
