How to Connect Instagram for Marketing

This comprehensive guide will walk you through connecting your Instagram for marketing. We'll cover everything from identifying the correct account type to granting necessary permissions, ensuring a smooth and successful connection. By the end, you'll be equipped to leverage Instagram's potential and take your marketing efforts to the next level.

Connect Instagram for Marketing

After fulfilling all the requirements, you can set up Google My Business from your SocialBooster page.

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. Based on your plan, follow the steps below to access your Website Builder dashboard:
   • eCommerce
     Click eCommerce on the left side of the navigation menu.
     
     • If you have only one eCommerce product, you will be automatically directed to your Website Builder dashboard.
     • If you have multiple eCommerce products, click LAUNCH next to the product you would like to manage.
       
   • Website or Website + Marketing
     Click Websites on the left side of the navigation menu.
     • If you have only one Website or Website + Marketing product, look for Edit Website on the right, and click LAUNCH WEBSITE BUILDER to enter your edit website page.
       
     • If you have multiple Website or Website + Marketing products, click LAUNCH WEBSITE BUILDER next to the plan you want to manage.
       

3. In the Website Builder dashboard, click Marketing on the left navigation menu, then click on SocialBooster. You will be automatically directed to your dashboard.
   
   If it is your first time navigating your SocialBooster Dashboard, start by clicking the Get Started button.
   
4. You will either have the following options:
   • If you haven't connected to any social media platform yet, you will be presented with the following interface: Click the Connect Instagram button.
     
   • If you have already connected to a social media platform (e.g., Facebook), you will see your dashboard.
     1. Click the account drop-down beside Create Post.
        
     2. Click the Connect Instagram button.
        
5. A dialog box will appear, prompting you to log in to your Facebook account using the associated Email or Phone number and Password. Alternatively, you can create a new account.
   

   Note: Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook account to connect it to SocialBooster. As shown below, you will be prompted to log in to your Facebook account.

6. After a successful login, you will be directed to the page in the image below. You will be asked to grant permission to link your account to SocialBooster. Click Continue to proceed.
   

   Important: The Instagram account should be an Instagram Business Account. You may receive an error message if the system detects a personal account. Refer to the image below for guidance. 7. A notification will appear confirming that your account is linked to SocialBooster. Click OK to complete the additional setup.
   
8. Select the Instagram Business account you wish to use with SocialBooster. With Instagram Business, you can manage multiple business accounts using a single device and credentials. Click Next
   
9. Choose the Instagram Business page to associate with SocialBooster by checking the box. Then, click Next to proceed to the next step.
   
10. Configure the permissions for SocialBooster. Turning off these options may result in improper functionality. Click Done to proceed.
    
11. Congratulations! Your Instagram Business Account has been successfully linked to SocialBooster. You can easily manage your account using the SocialBooster platform and other social media pages.
