Domain: FAQs
Understanding the differences between domain pointers and subdomains is crucial when setting up a website. Using domain pointers, the entire domain (example.com) will redirect to a specific URL (https://www.sample.com). In contrast, using a subdomain (e.g., shop.example.com) redirects only that portion of the domain to the desired URL without affecting the main domain's website. This distinction is essential for directing web traffic appropriately based on your needs.
