Domain Registration: Top Level Domains (TLDs)
A domain name is a website address like domain.com or google.com. A top level domain (TLD) is the portion that comes after the period, or .com. There are several TLDs you can choose from when registering a new domain. Some are generic TLDs while others are specific to a country, like .us (United States) or .ca (Canada).
To learn which TLDs are available for registration, simply do a domain search. If you are logged into your account, search for additional domains in your Domain dashboard or Control Panel.
New TLDs can also be purchased through Domain. You can find out more information about which new TLDs are available and how to register them by clicking here.
